Salt Lake City has declared 2013 the Year of the Bike. The Utah Legislature is making Utah more bike friendly by passing six bicycle related bills this session. Learn more about each bill at http://www.bikeutah.org/LegislativeInfo.

Bike Utah believes every year is the Year of the Bike! Make plans now to join us at the 2013 Utah Bike Summit:Keep Utah Rolling! on April 26. The 2013 keynote speaker is Tim Blumenthal, President of Bikes Belong. http://www.bikesbelong.org/ is a national organization whose mission is very simple – to put more people on bicycles more often. I just returned from the National Bike Summit in Washington, DC where Tim Blumenthal inspired over 800 advocates from all 50 states.

The program will continue to inspire you with the vision of local leaders, advocates, Utah State Senate President Wayne Niederhauser – District 9, Utah State Senator Todd Weiler – District 23, and Salt Lake County Mayor Ben McAdams, joining us. Check out the full program on the registration page below.

The 2013 Utah Bike Summit: Keep Utah Rolling! is scheduled for Friday, April 26 at the University of Utah – Guest House. UTA once again will be providing free TRAX to the summit or ride your bike! (Vehicle parking is limited)
